Can I add an additional driver to the rental contract?
Yes, it is possible to add an additional driver upon authorization and presentation of the correct driving authorization (licence). However, a daily supplement is required for each additional driver, equal to 50% of the amount described for the type of vehicle already rented.
What payment options are accepted for rental?
We accept payments via credit/debit cards with the authorization of the issuing institution and/or cash. For cash payments, it is mandatory to pay a security deposit by bank draft payable to Prestige srl, the amount of which is determined based on the type of vehicle or motorcycle rented.
What are the insurance deductibles and what happens in case of damage?
The rented vehicle or motorcycle is covered by RCA insurance compliant with current laws. However, in the event of damage, theft or fire, the Customer may be responsible for an excess as indicated in the rental letter and depending on the type of vehicle. If the Customer chooses not to take out insurance, they will be responsible for the indicated deductible.
What happens if the keys are lost or the registration document is lost?
In the event of loss of the vehicle keys or loss of the original registration document, the Customer will be subject to a compensation penalty as specified in the rental contract.
What is the vehicle return policy?
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition in which it was rented, normal wear and tear excepted. It is important to respect the established return times and communicate any changes in advance to the Rental Company. Failure to return the keys or the vehicle will result in the continuation of the rental or the payment of a penalty.
What happens if I exceed the agreed mileage limit?
Mileage limits and costs for extra kilometers are indicated in the rental letter. If the agreed limit is exceeded, additional kilometers will be charged according to the established rates.
What is the jurisdiction and applicable law for the rental agreement?
The rental contract is governed by Italian law. Any disputes relating to the contract will be under the jurisdiction of the Court of the place where the Customer collected the Vehicle.
Can I withdraw my consent to the processing of my personal data for marketing purposes?
Yes, the Customer can withdraw consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes at any time. However, withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on prior consent.
